A Hope for Everyone

Everything is something that can be managed with the right support. Despite the diagnosis, it is possible to live a good life, to be productive, and to do things in life that are meaningful and fulfilling. That there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution, and that different things can work for different people. There is still hope!

It is really a period of recovery time. Years of attempting to make sense of it all, to find one’s own meaning and to reclaim what appears to be lost, slipping in and out of knowing and unknowing, never quite sure which is which. Recovery is possible. Somehow, against the odds but everything will be alright in time with a right support and medication.

“It took a while, but I got my mental health back. Recovery is possible! Now I’m trying to help others go through mental illness where I can, primarily in developing countries, as they have it worse than we do in developed countries.”
